Job Summary

Fabricate and install custom build cabinets, countertops and other wood products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Fabricate cabinetry on daily basis utilizing all necessary tools and equipment; ensure quality and timeliness of jobs.
  • Fabricate and install variety of wood constructed items (e.g. counter tops, cabinets, shelving, moldings, partitions, etc.) as required
  • Maintain all tools, equipment and machinery in a safe operating condition. Alert supervisor as to needed repair of equipment and machines. Recommend purchase of new tools or equipment
  • Operate all machinery in a safe and efficient manner utilizing safeguards, safety measures and good housekeeping practices
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience with wood working and cabinetry
  • Ability to build a variety of wood constructed items (e.g. counter tops, cabinets, shelving, moldings, partitions, etc.)
  • Ability to read and understand product drawings and schematics
  • Math aptitude including ability to read a tape measure to add, subtract and divide measurements
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisor, work in a team environment and express ideas clearly to supervisor
  • Laminator and/or finisher experience is a plus.

CNC Operator

Job Summary

Operate CNC machines to fabricate stone countertops as required.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Place stone countertops on CNC machines using appropriate lifting equipment
  • Pull drawings and type data into CNC machines
  • Set up measurements/suction cups on machines
  • Set up and provide maintenance of CNC machines tooling
  • Inspect finished pieces, comparing them to drawings to ensure quality and timeliness of jobs
  • Operate all tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner utilizing safeguards, safety measures and good housekeeping practices;
  • Perform general maintenance of machines and work space
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience operating CNC machines
  • Knowledge of stone countertop fabrication
  • Ability to work/ lift with heavy weight
  • Math aptitude, including ability to read a tape measure to add, subtract and divide measurements
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly to other staff and to supervisor.
  • Knowledge of Park Titan, Intermac 4000, 43 CNC machines preferred but not required.
Required education

High school or equivalent

Required Experience

CNC machine experience: 1 year

Countertop Installer

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install granite and solid surfaces countertops utilizing all necessary tools and equipment to ensure quality and timeliness of jobs
  • Solve problems related to installation
  • Make on-site fabrication adjustments to countertops if needed and as required by operating the necessary tools and equipment
  • Operate all tools and machinery in a safe and efficient manner utilizing safeguards, safety measures and good housekeeping practices
  • Perform all types of repairs if needed
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of granite and solid surfaces countertop installation and countertop fabrication is preferred
  • Math aptitude including ability to read a tape measure to add, subtract and divide measurements is required
  • Ability to organize jobs to stay on schedule and solve problems related to installation
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly to other staff and to supervisor
  • Ability to relate to customers, be knowledgeable about the product to answer questions and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
  • Valid driver’s license.

Countertops Fabricator

  • Maintain all tools, equipment and machinery.  Alert supervisor as to needed repair of equipment and machines.  Recommend purchase of new tools or equipment
  • Operate all machinery in a safe and efficient manner utilizing safeguards, safety measures and good housekeeping practices
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Working knowledge of the materials and fabrication process associated with granite and solid surface countertops, as well as hand tools and machines required for production
  • Countertops fabrication experience

Field Measure Technician

Job Summary

Measure kitchen and bathroom cabinets by using laser measuring equipment and creating electronic drawings for stone manufacturing plant, and by using measuring tools and creating countertop stick-templates for production of solid surface countertops, i.e. Corian, LG Hi-Macs etc.

Essential Functions

Duties, which are mainly performed out in clients’ homes, include but are not limited to:

  • measuring existing or newly installed cabinets in client’s house using laser measuring machine LT-55 and/or measuring tools;
  • verify measurements and creating hand drawings;
  • upload digital readings into computer system and creating digital drawings and blueprints for digitizing;
  • creating stick templates for fabrication of solid surface countertops.
Requirements
  • Experience using measuring tools, including LT-55
  • Knowledge and ability to create digital drawings and blueprints
  • Proficiency in creating handmade stick templates
  • General knowledge of countertops fabrication and installation
  • Clean background records
  • Clean driving records
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Good knowledge of computers
  • Problem Solving/Analysis
  • Ability to work well with contractors, designers and homeowners
  • Ability to work frequent overtime hours on short or no notice, as required to complete the assignments
Preferred Experience
  • Associate degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous experience with stone manufacturing and MS Office applications.

Wood Finisher

Job Summary

Prep and apply finish to millwork product in shop environment according to drawings, work orders and procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prep solid wood and veneer product surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, leveling and masking
  • Spray finished wood products with conversion varnish, pre-cat lacquer, epoxy, dyes and finish match
  • Apply paints and coatings as required to achieve quality finish
  • Formulate and mix custom stain colors and glazes
  • Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality and timeliness of jobs
  • Maintain all tools and equipment.  Alert supervisor as to the needed repairs of equipment, recommend purchase of new tools or equipment
  • Responsible for the safe storage of flammable chemicals, products and finishes used in the shop
  • Maintain a good housekeeping and safe work environment of spray booth and finish room
  • Complete EPA documentation
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of woodworking and general finishing techniques
  • Skilled use of sprayers, staining techniques, and hand tools
  • Experience with touch-up in stained and paint finishes
  • Ability to correctly perform all aspects of routine work, meeting quality standards and requirements
  • Ability to achieve results in an accurate and timely manner and maintain awareness of shipping schedules, adjust work capacity needs as required
  • Ability to work in a team environment and express ideas clearly to supervisor
  • Knowledge of EPA, safety regulations and SDS (MSDS)
  • Math aptitude including ability to read a tape measure to add, subtract and divide measurements
